The members of the Outer Banks Woman's club promote a civic, cultural, educational, environmental and social betterment of the Outer Banks.

These areas are addressed by our club activities involving both volunteerism and charitable donations.  We strive to recognize and meet the changing needs of the residents of Dare County, North Carolina.

Membership is available to women of all ages who reside in the vicinity of the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

The General Federation of Women's Clubs is distinguished from other nonprofit organizations in that each club has the freedom to shape programs and projects that suit local communities and interests, while benefiting from the expertise and support provided by a network of members at the district, state, regional and national levels.

This unique approach allows for our members to have both a national voice and a local passion. Our programs provide projects, ideas and opportunities spanning a wide range of issues. The diversity of our membership provides a wealth of resources in terms of interest, knowledge and experience.
The Outer Banks Woman's Club was proud to be the host of the GFWC-NC District 9 Fall Meeting held at Duck Woods Country Club in October of 2014. Members attending from the twelve district clubs enjoyed a fun and informative day including presentations from GFWC-NC visiting officers.
